Adam Gross

Chief Marketing Officer

Adam Gross, Chief Marketing Officer for The Jordan, Edmiston Group, Inc. (JEGI), has 15 years of investment banking and advisory experience, having completed mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, recapitalizations, debt and equity financings, valuations and strategic planning projects.

Since 2000, Mr. Gross has been a key member of JEGI’s investment banking team, with a focus on middle-market transactions across JEGI’s core sectors, including media, information, marketing services and technology.  He offers clients deep insights across emerging markets, such as interactive, social, and mobile and a comprehensive understanding of how these markets are rapidly transforming the media landscape.  Mr. Gross has built a deep, global network of senior level executive and investor contacts that he utilizes to identify a target pool of buyers and investors on JEGI-led transactions.

In 2010, Mr. Gross became part of JEGI’s executive management team, where he works with the firm’s executive leadership to strategize the future direction of the business, key growth drivers and target markets.  He represents the firm in developing cross-border partnerships to drive a wide array of international opportunities, as well as establishing key relationships with other professional organizations across the marketplace.

As part of his leadership role within the firm, Mr. Gross authors and produces highly regarded industry research and reports, newsletters, and presentations.  He regularly speaks at industry and association-led events and brings together top industry executives for various conferences, dinners and meetings.  In 2011, he was elected to the Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA) Content Division Board of Directors. 

Mr. Gross holds an MBA with Honors in Finance and Investments from the Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College in New York and a BA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.  He continues to be actively involved in Baruch’s MBA Honors program, including as a guest lecturer, and is also an active member of UW-Madison’s alumni association.
