As a 25+ year media industry veteran and a former top executive at The Nielsen Company, Mr. Marchesano is known for his strong strategic and management skills. He has an impeccable reputation and is highly regarded throughout the industry. His wealth of knowledge and deep domain experience in the business information services sector offers significant value to JEGI's b2b client base.

Prior to joining JEGI in 2007, Mr. Marchesano served as Executive Vice President and Chief Transformation Officer of The Nielsen Company. In this position, he was responsible for leading the company's business transformation strategy. Mr. Marchesano focused on a far-reaching, three-year program designed to further reduce costs, enhance margins, and more effectively leverage Nielsen's resources to improve its competitive position and fund future growth.

Mr. Marchesano joined VNU in August 1999 as President of Bill Communications. In June 2001, he was named President and CEO of VNU Business Media USA, responsible for VNU's portfolio of business publications, trade shows, conferences, database information services, and media intelligence. In 2005, he assumed executive responsibility for Nielsen Entertainment, a leading provider of information, analysis, and marketing solutions to the global entertainment industry.

Prior to joining The Nielsen Company, Mr. Marchesano spent 22 years with BPA International, the primary global auditor of business publications, rising to the position of President and CEO in 1994.

Mr. Marchesano holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Marist College, and he also completed the University of Virginia's Darden Graduate School of Business Administration Executive Program.
